JOB is a psychological thriller by Max Wolf Friedlich exploring truth, technology, identity, and the human cost of living online. Jane's life unravels after a viral video places her on leave from one of the world's most powerful tech companies, and what begins as a routine evaluation becomes an intense psychological battle. The St. Louis premiere is directed by Annamaria Pileggi and stars Kristen Lindtvedt and John Contini. Friedlich conceived the play after meeting a professional content moderator and drew from his own experience writing for a fictional Instagram influencer, giving him insight into internet fame, anonymity, and identity.
