One of St. Louis' most delightful duos, "Blush" makes their cabaret debut with a fresh look at pop, rock, and standards. With original arrangements, their signature vocal blend, and a dash of girl talk you're in for a relaxed, entertaining evening. Tim Schall directs, with arrangements by Lisa Tuttle.
"The smooth vocals of Shauna Sconce and Lisa Tuttle will remind you of the commercial sound of the Dixie Chicks or the Judds. Backed by Lisa, Shauna delivers torch classics that will transport you beyond their collective pop sound to the reverie of a hushed and attentive cabaret room."
Rick Jensen, Singer/Songwriter/Director, MAC, Bistro, & GLAMA Award Winner, New York, NY
"Go see Shauna and Lisa! Shauna's voice is the aural equivalent of warm molasses and comes directly from her soul. Lisa at the piano provides sparkle and spice. Together they are a wow."
Alex Rybeck, Composer/Pianist/Arranger, 2010 MAC Award Nominee, New York, NY
"Shauna and Lisa- They're sassy, they're classy, and they're musically sublime!"
Jason Graae, Actor/Comedian/Dancer, L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award Winner, Los Angeles, CA
Tickets are $20 and available at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/124571. A portion of show proceeds will benefit Stray Rescue St. Louis.
