It's been 50 years since the Sabandeños began their activity, maintaining an unbroken musical work, reflected in more than 70 record works; a valuable audio file that contains part of the traditional heritage, in addition to self-created songs and adapted versions. They have not only addressed the different genres that make up the Canarian folk repertoire varied but, in parallel, have dedicated themselves to spread the rich Latin American songbook and, more recently, the bolero. Such has been the impact of the sabandeña trajectory, which have become an obligatory reference point for traditional music, which goes beyond the scope canary, having accumulated many honors, awards and recognition at this time.
