Three aces for the Beethoven Triple: the young French cellist revelation of the year, Edgar Moreau, the Georgian virtuoso, Katia Buniatishvili, and the decorated Knight of the National Order of Merit of the French Republic, Renaud Capuçon.
Beethoven’s Triple Concerto is a very special work and unique in its genre. Its performance is often a unique event that brings together soloists who rarely coincide on one stage. Denmark is again present twice this season: on the one hand, with the descriptive Symphony no. 2 by Nielsen, the Danish symphonist par excellence, and, on the other, by the collaboration of their Consulate with the OBC in the commissioning of a work by one of our most important composers: Joan Albert Amargós.
