A new musical inspired by true events, rooted in the Mexican immigrant experience in the American South. La Zafra tells a story of love, labor, sacrifice, and the longing to belong. Presented in partnership with the Hispanic Alliance, the workshop features a professional cast in a semi-staged format, with captioning available in English and Spanish. A talkback featuring playwright Mario Suarez and other guests follows Saturday's matinee.
