Alastair Presents SEEKING HAYDN Next Month Image

Join the South Bend Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Alastair Willis at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 19 for Alastair Presents: Seeking Haydn in this final installment of the June H. Edwards Mosaic Series of the 2022-23 season.

This Alastair Presents transports the audience and musicians to eighteenth-century Austria! Alastair Willis guides the audience through this musical world as Haydn's musical assistant at the Esterhazy Palace, explore (through Willis' unique and personal experience, of course) what it was like living and working at the palace with Joseph Haydn. South Bend Symphony Orchestra members Lara Turner, principal cello, and Stephen Orejudos, principal trumpet, shine as soloists in this not to be missed celebration of the father of the symphony!

The South Bend Symphony Orchestra is grateful for Jack M. Champaigne and his support of the Mosaic Series. Jordan Lexus of Mishawaka proudly supports the 90th Season Guest Artists.

Embarking on its 90th season, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra is the region's only professional orchestra and is committed to engaging the community in all it does. In addition to being recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts and other state and local arts funding organizations, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra is the recipient of the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County's 2019 Leighton Award for Nonprofit Excellence, which recognizes the best-run nonprofit organization in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
