Two best friends, dead end jobs, rugby, and some regular guy stuff.
Performed in English and Afrikaans, …miskien is a simple story of two guys: best friends who are stuck in similar dead end jobs and nondescript lives, both waiting for Happy Hour at the end of each day to drag them into the next. It is a story that examines the spaces between people, and what we do, what we don’t do, what we say, and what we keep to ourselves when we want to fill these gaps.
…miskien is the controversial, intimate and internationally acclaimed first production from the award-winning company The Pink Couch. Featuring Albert Pretorius (The Three Little Pigs, Balbesit, Doodsnikke) and Gideon Lombard (The View, Special Thanks to Guests from Afar) and directed by Tara Notcutt (The Three Little Pigs, Mafeking Road, Last Rounds, WhatWhat), it is the play that put The Pink Couch on the map. It has toured extensively both in South Africa and internationally, and has been performed on four continents, the most recent being the USA, with a trip to New York in August 2014.
