GANARAMA Productions, the company behind the long-running sketch comedy series, LET'S MIX IT, will present a brand new show for the Artscape Arena this November. The show, titled LET'S MIX IT: THE BEST OF & MORE, will again feature the inimitable duo of Gary Naidoo and Chad Abrahams, with Abrahams playing the role of Hadji Fatgiyah Bardien, the chatty talk show hostess who broadcasts her talk show from the lounge of her Walmer Estate home.

This time she has four "interviewees" (all played by Naidoo) who are literally a mixed bag - from local ex-Miss Gay South Africa, Felicity Mybergh, who has delusions of hosting her own talk show one day, to Sisanda Gugushe, a larger-than-life former Zumo *the female version of Sumo) wrestler, who is always willing to share her weight loss tips with audiences. Also in the line-up is pint-sized North Korean Masterchef, Pi-On-Mi who is here to promote his new dumpling balls.

The show has some of the best moments of past shows as well as brand new material, like on-screen home-brewed adverts and a new character or two that Hadji Fatgiyah will be hosting on her show. Throw in funnyman Wayne Mckay and the stage is set for another laugh-a-minute romp.

Written by Rafiek Mammon and Gary Naidoo, and directed by Mammon, LET'S MIX IT: THE BEST OF & MORE previews at the Artscape Arena on 2 November, with tickets costing R70, and then runs through 7 November, with tickets costing R90. Booking is through Computicket.
