Gate69's MACBETH! THE ADULT PANTO Extended Owing to Popular Demand

The run of Gate69's festive season romp, MACBETH! THE ADULT PANTO, has been extended owing to popular demand, with performances now scheduled through February of next year. The down-and-dirty romp sees Cathy, Holly and Molly serve up some hocus pocus and drag the hell out of witchcraft at the Mother City's purple palace on Bree Street.

MACBETH! THE ADULT PANTO is not Shakespeare the way everyone remembers it. The girls at Gate69 have read between the lines to whiff out an untold story that promises "big hair, big tits and even bigger musical numbers", giving a touch of glam to the infamous Scottish play. Cathy, Holly and Molly have discovered what that dirty little Willy was really on about and they are dead set on sharing it with the world.

With Gate69's iconic trio promising to deliver glam like Cape Town audiences have never seen before, MACBETH! THE ADULT PANO also presents Macbeth (Kyle Jardine) and Lady Macbeth (Tessa Denton) as the original Brangelina. Macbeth - complete with tattoos and a stomach made for Omo Handwash - makes Brad in THELMA AND LOUISE look like John Cleese, and long before Angelina pouted her way into our lives, Lady M was taking no prisoners and looking fierce doing it.

The extended season of MACBETH! THE ADULT PANTO continues until 3 February 2018. Tickets are available from the official Gate69 website and range in price from R450 - R595, which includes a delicious designer mezze served on a double-tiered Lazy Susan, a separate hot soup and bread service as well as a mouth-watering purple Patron soft serve ice-cream for dessert. The suggested arrival time is 18:30 for a drink in the bar, with dinner at 19:00 and the show at 20:15.
