Youth springs eternal in Broadway's new musical Tuck Everlasting, which celebrated its official opening at the Broadhurst Theatre just last night. TUCK EVERLASTING is brought to life in a sweeping production which features a book by Tony Award® nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde) and award-winning author Tim Federle (Better Nate Than Ever), music by Chris Miller(The Burnt Part Boys), lyrics by Nathan Tysen (The Burnt Part Boys), and direction and choreography by Tony Award® winner Casey Nicholaw (Something Rotten!, Aladdin, The Book of Mormon). TUCK EVERLASTING, which debuted in 2015 at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre, will begin previews on Thursday, March 31, 2016 and officially open on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). The Alliance Theatre has partnered with Broadway Dreams Foundation and ArtsBridge Foundation, two premier arts education programs, in celebration of Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw (Aladdin, The Book of Mormon) and his outstanding contribution to the American Musical Theatre. The celebration featured a musical journey through Nicholaw's career, including a sneak peek of Tuck Everlasting, a world premiere new musical now in performances at the Alliance Theatre.
