Academy Award and Emmy Award winner Steven Soderbergh (sex, lies, and videotape, Traffic, Erin Brockovich), will make his New York City theatrical producing debut with the World Premiere of The Fears, a new play by Emma Sheanshang (Every Girl Gets Her Man, Greetings from Tim Buckley), and directed by Dan Algrant (“Sex and the City,” People I Know). The bronze statue is dressed as Mrs. Cunningham from the 'Happy Days' series, which ran for 10 years from 1974-1984 and was sculptured using a screen accurate replica of a costume that Marion wore on the show and is seated on a park bench reaching out to invite any passerby to join her.

When Marine Staff Sergeant Donna Caine (played by Flor De Liz Perez of Two River Theater's Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England) is accused of a serious crime, highly respected attorney Emily Zola Ginsberg (played by Margarita Levieva of David Simon's critically acclaimed HBO drama The Deuce ) is convinced to take the case. Fighting for her client's future, Ginsberg finds herself taking on the military establishment in order to expose the truth.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company continues its 25th Anniversary Season at The Otto M. Budig Theater with "1984", a new adaptation of George Orwell's classic novel by Robert Icke and Duncan MacMillan. "1984" runs October 12 - November 3, and is directed by Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips and features Resident Ensemble Members Justin McCombs and Sara Clark. This regional debut production will feature a revolutionary multimedia design by Brave Berlin, the Founding Creative Directors of Blink and LumenoCity, of light and sound that will create an immersive Orwellian theatrical experience!  This production is generously sponsored by The Carol Ann and Ralph V. Woodie King Jr's New Federal Theatre kicks off its 44th season with the first play of 'The Ed Bullins Project' - two revivals from his 'Twentieth Century Cycle of Plays' - IN THE WINE TIME, to be followed by The Fabulous Miss Marie this spring. In The Wine Time, directed by Mansoor Najee-ullah, will begin performances October 25th at Castillo Theater (543 West 42nd Street), continuing through November 24th. Opening Night is set for Thursday November 7th.

Main Street Theater opens its 39th MainStage season with Tom Stoppard's brilliant exploration of love and language, The Real Thing. The Pulitzer Prize and OBIE Award-winning Theatre for the New City (TNC) held its 10th Annual LOVE 'N' COURAGE benefit gala last night, February 25, 2013 at the National Arts Club (15 Gramercy Park South in Manhattan), this year honoring award-winning actor and playwright Charles Busch. Hosts for LOVE 'N' COURAGE were composer and singer Phoebe Legere and playwright/filmmaker Matt Morillo ('Maid of Honor'). The performers at this year's show included Mr. Busch, The Love Show, dancer/choreographer Kitty Lunn and Infinity Dance, juggler supreme John Grimaldi, Carol Freeman, Luba Mason, KT Sullivan, Tammy Grimes, Drew Pulver, Mark Marcante and Crystal Field. Walnut Street Theatre's 2012-2013 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with Nicholas Wright's artful, award-winning play, VINCENT IN BRIXTON. Alan Ayckbourn's rarely seen comedy My Wonderful Day fuses all of these characters together. Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 203rd season with an all-new production of Agatha Christie's classic thriller THE MOUSETRAP.

The Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) world premiere production of HUMOR ABUSE, the new one-man-show created by Lorenzo Pisoni (Equus, Last Dance) and Erica Schmidt (Debbie Does Dallas), began previews February 19 at New York City Center Stage II (131 West 55th Street) in preparation for a Tuesday, March 10 opening night.

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of ROMANTIC POETRY, a new musical by John Patrick Shanley and Henry Krieger, is currently in previews at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street) in preparation for a Tuesday, October 28 opening.
