Coventry born Declan Bennet (EastEnders' Charlie Cotton) will bring his one person show to Belgrade Theatre this spring after a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a successful week on London's West End.

The Providence Performing Arts Center has announced that President and CEO J.L. “Lynn” Singleton has been selected for induction into the Rhode Island Heritage Hall of Fame. Singleton and eight other distinguished Rhode Island leaders will be honored as Hall of Fame inductees at a ceremony on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Pavilion in Warwick.

Or at least Broadway talent! BWW has gathered together a group of up-and-coming stage stars currently making the transition to the big and small screens in all of these 'genres'.

After a hard-fought contest, The Book of Mormon is 2013's BWW:UK Award winner for Best New Musical! Mormon and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory split the bulk of the awards for musical theatre between them - with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time mirroring its success at this year's Oliviers.

Olympia Entertainment and MagicSpace Entertainment add The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream to the 2013-2014 Fifth Third Bank Fox Theatre Series, rounding out the series with a mix of rock 'n' roll and broadway. This exciting addition is set to arrive at the Fox Theatre tonight, November 15.

New York Theatre Ballet announces the 2013-2014 Once Upon a Ballet Series, hour-long family ballets, beginning with Keith Michael's The Nutcracker at New York City's Florence Gould Hall, 55 East 59th Street, New York City. The Grand Theatre will be presenting four productions and a concert series as part of the 2013-2014 season. The exciting lineup includes the original high school musical, "Fame", which will play during October 10-26, 2013. The American Classic, "Our Town" will play in January 23-February 8, 2014. The charming musical, "Once On This Island", will be presented March 6-22 and the season will close with a classic comedy, "Noises Off", running May 8-24.
