After a hard-fought contest, The Book of Mormon is 2013's BWW:UK Award winner for Best New Musical!

Mormon and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory split the bulk of the awards for musical theatre between them - with The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time mirroring its success at this year's Oliviers.

Once picked up Best Leading Actress in a Musical thanks to Zrinka Cvitešic, and Best Leading Actor in a West End Musical went to Killian Donnelly of The Commitments.

Hadley Fraser picked up a unique double - Best Leading Actor in a Fringe/Regional Musical for his performance in Chichester's The Pajama Game, and Best Leading Actor in a Play for The Machine, in Manchester.

Les Miserables also made a good showing - Best Long-Running West End Show, with Tam Mutu and Carrie Hope Fletcher taking the prizes for best performances in a long-runner.

The BWW:UK Awards are chosen entirely by readers - first through a nomination process, resulting in a shortlist which is then opened up for voting.
