He made his television debut in Miami Vice (1986) and appeared in projects including Madonna’s “Borderline” music video (1984), Casualties of War (1989), Die Hard 2 (1990), Hangin’ with the Homeboys (1991), and Regarding Henry (1991). In 1991, he wrote and performed the Off-Broadway one-man show Mambo Mouth, playing seven different characters.
