Louis St. Louis was an American songwriter, music arranger and singer, famous for songs written for Grease, particularly the song "Sandy" (co-written with Scott Simon), which was a hit for John Travolta and performing "Rock 'n' Roll Party Queen" and "Mooning" (songs originally from the musical, where they were sung by a character named Roger that was cut from the film) with Cindy Bullens on the soundtrack. . The Shubert Organization is America's oldest professional theatre company and the largest theatre owner on the Broadway. Since the dawn of the 20th Century, Shubert has operated hundreds of theatres and produced hundreds of plays and musicals both in New York City and throughout the United States. Shubert currently owns and operates seventeen Broadway theatres and six off-Broadway venues. Mr. Schmidt has designed nearly 60 Broadway shows and dozens of regional productions for the Guthrie, The Old Globe, The Alley Theatre, and Seattle Rep, among others.
