The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center will soon celebrate the theater photography of the Friedman-Abeles Studio through a unique presentation of a selection of lenticular prints.

The Billy Rose Theatre Division at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts has made the archives of Joan Marcus and Carol Rosegg publicly accessible. The collected work by the prominent theater photographers was acquired in 2018. It represents one of the largest digital acquisition of photography ever made by the Library.

Leonard Bernstein: The Power of Music closed on Sunday, September 2, at the National Museum of American Jewish History. The first large-scale exhibition to document Bernstein's life, work, Jewish identity, and social activism, containing approximately 100 historic artifacts, will begin its national tour at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, opening October 4 and on view through November 18, 2018.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has awarded a $250,000 grant to the National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) in support of the forthcoming exhibition, Leonard Bernstein: The Power of Music.
