Asolo Repertory Theatre has announced complete casting for the Olivier and Tony Award-winning memory play Dancing at Lughnasa, which begins previews on March 19, 2025.  

Nina Wadia will star as Gemma in the world premiere of NOW That’s What I Call A Musical, a brand-new British musical written by award-winning comedian Pippa Evans and directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood.

In Part One we discussed some of the modern UK connected Musical Theatre Eurovision stars, but let's go back to the 90's where there was an exceptional run from 1991 to 1994 of stage steppers.

The BBC has confirmed the line-up of incredible musical talent – including Kalush Orchestra, Sam Ryder, and established Eurovision icons – joining the 26 acts competing in the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final on May 13.

SUPER BOWL GREATEST COMMERCIALS 2020, an interactive countdown special where viewers will be able to vote LIVE for the most hilarious and most heartfelt Super Bowl commercial, will be broadcast Wednesday, Jan. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The special will be hosted by Boomer Esiason, analyst for CBS Sports' NFL pregame show THE NFL TODAY, and Daniela Ruah, star of CBS' NCIS: LOS ANGELES, and originate from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, home of “Super Bowl LIV.”

The Wanted's Tom Parker makes his theatre debut as Danny Zuko in Grease, at The Marlowe Theatre next month (October).

Birmingham Hippodrome is thrilled to announce that global star Jimmy Osmond* (The Osmonds, I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here) will visit Birmingham Hippodrome in the UK Tour of Grease from 29 May - 3 June.

dick clark productions and ABC today announced that seven-time Billboard Music Award-winning artist and current Las Vegas resident Céline Dion will perform her colossal hit, “My Heart Will Go On,” at the 2017 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS.

Since then she has topped the charts in every decade (working with everyone from Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash and The Beatles to Elton John, Sting, David Bowie and Paul McCartney) and also become an accomplished actress, in such notable works as the cult classic 'To Sir With Love' and legendary guest appearances on the BBC comedy, 'Absolutely Fabulous'.

Casting for the tour includes Tom Parker (The Wanted) who makes his musical theatre debut playing Danny Zuko, Danielle Hope (Over the Rainbow winner) who plays Sandy, and Louisa Lytton (Strictly Come Dancing, EastEnders) who plays Rizzo.
