Acclaimed creators of family entertainment TheaterWorksUSA has partnered with California's La Mirada Theatre to present high-quality theatre for young audiences. This partnership will allow the New York-based TheaterWorksUSA to offer their original musicals as part of La Mirada's Programs for Young Audiences Series. 

TheaterWorksUSA new, 60-minute production of The Lightning Thief: Theatre for Young Audiences Edition will perform in New York City before heading out on its quest around the country. Performing two shows only on October 1, 3 PM and 7 PM at Five Angels Theater.

TheaterWorksUSA has announced their upcoming 2022 - 2023 season, including the national touring premieres of PETE THE CAT'S BIG HOLLYWOOD ADVENTURE, EL OTRO OZ, and THE LIGHTNING THIEF: TYA EDITION, along with returning favorites touring across the country.

THE LIGHTNING THIEF: THE PERCY JACKSON MUSICAL, an 'electrifying' (Newsday) musical adaption of the New York Times best-selling novel written by Rick Riordan, will launch its national tour in Chicago in January 2019 before heading across the country, with engagements announced in Seattle, Detroit, Charlotte, San Antonio and more. Additional tour cities and casting will be announced at a later date.

Blumenthal Performing Arts announces another extraordinary lineup for its upcoming 2018-19 PNC Broadway Lights season featuring eight new shows including six time 2017 Tony Award and 2018 Grammy Award winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen, Tony-winning Best Musical Revival Hello, Dolly! starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley and the hit Broadway musical Disney's Aladdin.

Producers, Theatreworks USA, Martian Entertainment, Greg Schaffert Productions and Lang Entertainment Group have partnered with The Road Company (trc.nyc) to bring Drama Desk Nominated Best Musical, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical around the country beginning fall of 2018.

By popular demand, the one-night-only special event concert and album signing, featuring original cast members of the Off-Broadway hit, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, has announced a second show on Monday, August 28 at 9:30PM at The Green Room 42, hosted by composer and lyricist Rob Rokicki.

Theatreworks USA (Barbara Pasternack, Artistic Director; Ken Arthur, Producing Director) will continue its 2016 weekend family performance series this Sunday, January 31st, with The Lightning Thief, a musical adapted from the book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. The Lightning Thief features a book by Joe Tracz with music, lyrics, & orchestrations by Rob Rokicki. The Off-Broadway premiere of The Lightning Thief was nominated for Outstanding Musical by the Lortel Awards in 2015. This 60-minute musical is recommended for audiences age 8 and up.

Westport Country Playhouse's Family Festivities Series will present "The Lightning Thief," a new musical about mythological monsters based on the popular book series by Rick Riordan, on Sunday, February 8, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Produced by Theatreworks USA , the show is recommended for ages 7 to 12. Running time is approximately one hour. Tickets are $20.

Young Percy Jackson is about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime as he tries to set things right in the mythological world of the Greek gods. Young audiences will thrill to the new musical adaptation of "The Lightning Thief," to be presented by Theatreworks USA at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre Saturday, Jan. 17 at 2 and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
