Craig Lucas returns to one of his theatrical homes as South Coast Repertory will present the world premiere of Prelude to a Kiss, The Musical, lyrics by Sean Hartley and Daniel Messé, music by Messé, book by Lucas. Directed by Ivers, it runs April 5-May 4, 2024 on the Segerstrom Stage as the centerpiece to SCR’s 60th season.

The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia). The production begins tonight, September 16, with an opening slated for September 24, and runs through October 25, 2015.

Three Minute Tease, the band comprised of Sacramento born culty songwriter Anton Barbeau (vocals, guitars, keyboards) and Andy Metcalfe (bass) and Morris Windsor (drums), who are probably best known for their work in the Soft Boys/Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians, have developed a reputation for their 'pre-apocalyptic psychedelic pop'. In true supergroup fashion, the members of Three Minute Tease are spread out across the map; Andy's in London, Morris is on the 'west coast' of England, and Barbeau is based in Berlin. The group released their self-titled debut record in 2011 and are proud to announce that they will be releasing their sophomore album, 'Bite The Hand', on September 23rd on idiot Records.

Based on Frank Wedekind's 1891 controversial play of the same title, Spring Awakening epitomizes the struggle between repressive patriarchy and the purity of nature and delves deep into issues surrounding abuse, pregnancy, sexuality and suicide- all subjects relevant to contemporary life.
