Theatrical Outfit has announced their 50th Anniversary Season with 5 mainstage productions of classics and modern works, 4 new plays, 3 special anniversary events, 2 productions with new and returning community partners and 1 brand new commission.

The San Francisco Symphony has revealed details of the Orchestra’s 115th season. The 2026–27 season features 26 guest conductors, including five making their Orchestral Series debuts, alongside a lineup of returning and debuting guest artists.

When Kelly Howe and Joe Hanrahan take the stage at Blue Strawberry on Friday, March 13, 2026, the pair will be celebrating a special anniversary. Their long running hit Just One Look premiered 3-years ago on the exact same stage. Just One Look is the first, and most successful, of Midnight Company’s scripted cabaret shows. The show blends cabaret performing with storytelling. It’s not exactly a club act or a Broadway musical, but a nostalgic look at one of the most successful female rock artists of all time. When Hanrahan and Howe, announced this collaboration in early 2023, Broadway World called the show featuring Linda Ronstadt’s songbook “the most anticipated theatrical event of the new season.” It’s clear from the show’s success that Ronstadt’s chart-topping music is still as popular today as it was a half-century ago.

Seth MacFarlane was in great voice when he took the stage at Symphony Hall recently for his sold-out New Year’s Eve concert with the Boston Pops, even if it wasn’t his most familiar voice.

Playhouse on Park is presenting All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914, the a cappella music-theatre piece by Peter Rothstein, Erik Lichte, and Timothy Takach. The production, directed by Sasha Brätt with music direction by Benjamin Rauch, tells the story of the World War I Christmas truce through historical text and song.

The Western Front. Christmas. A German soldier sets down his rifle and steps into No Man’s Land, singing “Silent Night”. Thus begins an extraordinary night of fellowship, music, and peace, told in the words and the songs of the men who lived it. Peter Rothstein’s salute to unsung heroes of The Great War returns to the Historic Asolo Theater after a sell-out run last season.
