Sharon Tate Trilogy Of Plays to Debut in Los Angeles Together

This American Blonde Actress and Mississippi Mud Productions announce the arrival of three of the Sharon Tate plays from New York to play in Los Angeles at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute - Studio 2 in West Hollywood, January 26-28 for one weekend only. The weekend affords opportunities to see the plays individually or in combination. The solo piece was written and is performed by Jen Danby. The duo shows were written and are performed by Jen Danby and Daniel Delano. This is an AEA showcase production.

The 92Y had a swinging start to it's Lyrics & Lyricists Series this weekend with a blockbuster show celebrating the life and music of Bobby Darin. Ted Chapin with his first undertaking as L&L producer created a fascinating and entertaining production which had many in the 92Y audience commenting 'move it to Broadway.' In fact the 5 day event had many Broadway producers in attendance as the buzz about the show travelled from 92nd street to 42 street.

York Theatre Company Announces Cast for HALLELUJAH, BABY!

It's a Jule Styne Celebration! The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and the preservation of musical gems from the past, has announced Stephanie Umoh (Junk, York's Jerry's Girls,) and two-time Tony Award nominee Vivian Reed (Bubbling Brown Sugar, High Rollers...), will lead the cast of the 1968 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Hallelujah, Baby!, with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, and book by Arthur Laurents, the first of three shows in the Winter 2018 Musicals in Mufti Series celebrating the work of composer Jule Styne.

Most Significant Elvis Musical Artifact Returns Home To Graceland

One of the most significant pieces of Elvis Presley's musical history has returned to Graceland, 60 years after it was first purchased by Elvis for the home in 1957 a white, baby grand piano with gold accents and a custom-made, gold, metal bench designed by Elvis with a white, leather cushion. For the first time since Graceland opened to the public in 1982, visitors to Graceland are now able to see this original piano, which was returned to the Music Room at Graceland this past weekend during Graceland's holiday concert events. Additional 1960s-era artifacts which are now on display in the Music Room include the original drapes and original gold couch, which was part of the room's d cor in 1964.
