University Press of Kentucky, in partnership with The Art Museum at the University of Kentucky and University of Kentucky Libraries, will celebrate the publication of The Letters of Thomas Merton and Victor and Carolyn Hammer: Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam with editors Paul Evans Holbrook, Jr. and F. Douglas Scutchfield. The event will include remarks from the editors and features an installation of Victor Hammers' paintings, drawings, and mezzotints. The all-star cast is led by Ken Clark (Titanic on Broadway, First National Tour of La Cage Aux Folles, Netflix's House of Cards) as "King Arthur," Christy Altomare (Mamma Mia! on Broadway and First National Tour of Spring Awakening) as "Guenevere," and Travis Taylor (Les Miserables and Young Frankenstein at Drury Lane Theatre) as "Lancelot." CAMELOT is directed by Alan Souza (World Premiere musicals The Little Hours and Exposure Time for New Jersey Repertory Theatre, and The Full Monty for Maltz Jupiter Theatre) making his Chicago debut. TACT'S THE KILLING OF SISTER GEORGE Revival Begins Tonight Off-Broadway

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' presents the first New York revival in 30 years of The Killing of Sister George, the controversial 1964 play by Frank Marcus. The first production of the company's 22nd Season will be directed by TACT Company Member Drew Barr, who directed the company's Fall 2012 production of Brian Friel's Lovers. Performances begin at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) tonight, September 23, 2014. Opening night is set for Tuesday, October 7 at 7:30pm. Performances will continue through November 1, 2014.

The New York City Ballet Presents the 2014 Fall Gala Tonight

New York City Ballet's annual Fall Gala will once again celebrate ballet and fashion with a program that will include three world premiere ballets by Justin Peck, Liam Scarlett, and Troy Schumacher, as well as existing works by Peter Martins and Christopher Wheeldon, all featuring costumes designed by an international roster of some of the fashion world's most renowned talents: Thom Browne, Sarah Burton, Valentino Garavani, Carolina Herrera, and Mary Katrantzou. The one- time-only gala evening will take place tonight, September 23, 2014, opening New York City Ballet's four-week Fall Season at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.
