Taproot Theatre Company gets a blast from the past at Corsets and Comedy, a special afternoon tea event where costumes are encouraged! On May 22, Taproot Theatre hosts a pre-show tea with special guest Sarah Burch Gordon, who will talk about costuming for the stage. Gordon has designed costumes for over 50 productions across the country.

Joining the celebration will be (in alphabetical order) Michael Cerveris, Victoria Clark, Jason Danieley, Nathan Gunn, George Hearn, Patti LuPone, Marin Mazzie, Audra McDonald, Donna Murphy, Mandy Patinkin, Bernadette Peters, and others to be announced, including surprise guests. The production features a new adaptation by Christopher Shinn and will be directed by Ian Rickson.

Tony-nominated composer Paul Gordon makes his New York nightclub debut at Joe's Pub with an evening featuring an eclectic selection of his pop and theatre songs including several from his five-time Tony-nominated Broadway musical Jane Eyre.
