Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern have announced the upcoming 2018-2019 Season.

 Hunter College President Jennifer J. Raab announced today the inaugural production of the Hunter Theater Project, the New York premiere of Anton Chekhov's UNCLE VANYA at the Frederick Loewe Theater at Hunter College (E. 68th Street and Lexington Avenue), directed by Richard Nelson. Translated byRichard Nelson, Richard Pevear, and Larissa Volokhonsky. This production is the first time renowned Russian literature translators Pevear and Volokhonsky will have a work premiere in New York City, following the show's world premiere at The Old Globe in San Diego, California. Previews for UNCLE VANYA begin Friday, September 7. The production runs through Sunday, October 14, with an official press opening on Sunday, September 16. Tickets are on sale now.

As a new economic era arrives, traditional corporations go through drastic transformations to reinvent themselves. Exploring the subject of office politics, particularly the ideological clash between the new and old generations within companies, Die Firma dankt is written by German playwright Lutz Hubner together with Sarah Nemitz. This satirical work is filled with brilliantly dark humour, and it has garnered enthusiastic acclaims when performed in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan. The current version is translated by Tang Wei, with Cantonese adaption by Weigo Lee who also directs this production. The main cast includes Chris Sun, Wang Wei, Karrie Tan, Lo Ka Nang and Fanny Shum, and the performances will be staged at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre from 6 to 22 July. Producer Scott Rudin has announced that to accommodate ticket demand, Edward Albee's Three Tall Women will add a ninth performance in its final week of performances. Nominated for six 2018 Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Play, Three Tall Women must close as previously scheduled on Sunday, June 24, with the added 7:00 PM show now the final performance for the ecstatically received production.
