Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, is proud to present the world premiere musical, The Royal Family of Broadway. Previews begin June 7, with an official Opening Night on June 13, with performances through July 7 on the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage (30 Union Street).

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. Producers of The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre have unveiled its new 2018/2019 Season, which will also be the theatre's 25th Silver Anniversary Season. The curtain first rose on Way Off Broadway in 1995 with a production of Let the Good Times Roll. Since then, Way Off Broadway has produced over 100 productions, ranging from classic musicals to regional premieres.

After a brief hiatus at the beginning of the year, Way Off Broadway is kicking off its 2018 Family Theatre Series season with the return of The Berenstain Bears on Stage! The show, which first premiered at the theatre in 2015, will have a limited engagement for its second go-around, running April 21st - May 20th, with six performances only.

Helen Olaketi Mariah Shute-Pettaway, a 2011 First Night Honoree and one of Nashville's most revered actresses, will take on the iconic role of Regina Giddens in the ACT 1 production of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes. Directed by 2014 First Night Honoree Jeffrey Ellis, senior contributing editor for BroadwayWorld.com, The Little Foxes runs at Darkhorse Theatre May 4-19.

Rehearsals are in full swing for The 5th Avenue Theatre's production of Kiss Me, Kate, which begins performances next Friday, April 6.

In 2002, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre opened its season with a set of new owners and the hilarious musical comedy farce A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
