The Prince of Denmark comes home from college to find his father dead, his mother remarried to his uncle, and a spine-chilling apparition roaming the palace grounds. Hamlet plays August 6 - September 10, 2017, in the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. Victoria Mansion and Acorn Productions are pleased to announce a fabulous evening of entertainment: Shakespeare's Garden of Verse at Victoria Mansion on Friday, August 18 at 5:30pm. This presentation by Naked Shakespeare will feature enchanting excerpts from some of Shakespeare's best known plays performed in the rooms of one of Portland's greatest treasures. One of Music City's longest running summer theater traditions continues tonight with the debut of 2017's Shakespeare in the Park, Nashville Shakespeare Festival's annual gift to a generation of theater audiences. The Old Globe today announced that due to popular demand, the exciting Globe-commissioned world premiere comedy Ken Ludwig's Robin Hood! has now extended again, through September 10! This is the second and final extension for the hit show, which previously announced a one-week addition through September 3. The production plays in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Single tickets start at $45 and are on sale now.
