Paula Brancati, Lauren Collins, Wendy Crewson, Cynthia Dale, Andrea Martin, and Louise Pitre are officially set to be the first cast of the Toronto production of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE. As in the initial New York staging of the play by Nora and Delia Ephron, the production will feature a company of six that rotates in four-week cycles. The next cast will be announced in the next upcoming weeks.

Water Works Theatre Company is excited to announce that Lane Riosley's The Commedia Tales of King Arthur will be its second annual daytime family show as part of the 10th Annual Shakespeare In The Park in Royal Oak. Tickets ($6) are now available online at www.waterworkstheatre.com. The family oriented comedy, perfect for children of all ages, will be performed Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings at 11am July 27 - August 8 in Starr Jaycee Park - 1101 West 13 Mile Road, Royal Oak MI 48073. Susan Jaffe, a former Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre, has been named Ballet Mistress with the Company. The appointment, effective October 2010, was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.

Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts Theaterfest is pleased to present the American Premiere of My Fairytale, a musical about Hans Christian Andersen. The production is directed by Melody Brooks at Shetler Studios' Theatre 54 (244 West 54th St., 12th Floor).

Guy Adkins died May 12 after a long battle with colon cancer. He was 41. Adkins was widly praised for his stage work in Chicago over the last decade. Adkins took on plays and musicals in his career, starring as the title role in Hamlet in 2002 and as Leo Bloom in The Producers in 2007.

Northern Stage's production of the Off-Broadway smash Greater Tuna will end its run May 2nd. This madcap romp features two veteran Northern Stage actors, Scott Cote (Beauty & the Beast, Cabaret, Moon Over Buffalo) and Kevin Loreque (I Am My Own Wife, The Full Monty, CATS, The Elephant Man, Cabaret,) playing 19 characters-men, women, even Yippy the dog-in 90 minutes.
