They join the previously announced musical theatre stars Sharon D. Gloucester Stage Company continues its 37th season of professional theater on Cape Ann with a limited run of Jason Robert Brown's Songs For A New World from August 4 through August 27 at 267 East Main Street, Gloucester, MA. Songs For A New World with music and lyrics by three time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown is a stirring musical journey examining the moments of decision and difficult choices faced in everyday life. Known for such Broadway hits as Parade, The Bridges of Madison County, Honeymoon in Vegas, and The Last Five Years, Mr. Brown artfully blends pop, jazz and gospel in solos and ensemble styles to create this inspiring song cycle.  Directed by Gloucester Stage Artistic Director Robert Walsh, the production features five singers including Tony Award nominee Barbara Walsh, Broadway veterans Rockport's Wendy Waring and Jack Donahue, Berklee College of Music graduate Chris Pittman and  Brandeis' Nyah Macklin, all four in their Gloucester Stage debut. Manhattan Concert Productions is pleased to announce the fifth installment of its Broadway Series, the Gershwin musical comedy, Crazy For You in its 25th Anniversary year. The concert performance will take place at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center on February 19, 2017 at 8pm. Crazy For You joins previous acclaimed concert performances of Ragtime, Titanic, Parade, and The Secret Garden. The concert performance of Crazy For You will feature a chorus of over 200 singers from the across the United States, a professional cast and creative team, and the enlarged forces of the New York City Chamber Orchestra. 

Goodman Theatre announces Broadway stars John Dossett and Douglas Sills will join the cast of War Paint, a new musical starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole as Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, respectively. Dossett will portray Tommy Lewis, Miss Arden's husband and chief marketing officer, and Sills will portray the ambitious Harry Fleming, Madame Rubinstein's clubby confidante and faithful ally.

The Old Globe presents the Arena Stage production of Pulitzer Prize winner Lawrence Wright's thrilling new play CAMP DAVID, directed by Arena Stage's artistic director, Molly Smith.
