The 12th Annual Las Vegas Film Festival, presented by Zappos, today announces additional programming - including shorts, labs and special screenings. Additionally, the schedule of screenings and events is now available online at www.lvff.com/schedule/. Plague Vendor just announced their new album By Night, produced by John Congleton(St Vincent, Sharon Van Etten, Chelsea Wolfe) and recorded at legendary EastWest Studios (Brian Wilson, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop). The follow up to their 2016 debut full-length BLOODSWEAT and their widely-acclaimed debut EP Free to Eat is set for release on June 7 via Epitaph Records. The 10-song set kicks off with the raw, vital track and first single “New Comedown.”

San Francisco International Arts Festival is very proud to present the U.S. debut of Compagnie Virginie Brunelle from Montreal Canada with the U.S. Premiere of Ms. Brunelle's signature work Complex des Genres. As Virginie Brunelle becomes a rising star in both her own country and in Europe - receiving commissions to create new work in major houses; so her accomplishments have been overlooked in Canada's neighbor to the south. The Festival seeks to rectify this by sharing with an American audience one of Ms. Brunelle's early signature works that announced her intentions to the world.

The San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) is pleased to reveal the full schedule of performances for the 2019 Festival that will run from May 23 - June 2 and have as a central theme The Path to Democracy. As the dark clouds of nationalism and fascism re-assert themselves on the global stage, SFIAF looks at some of the struggles for democracy past and present and how they manifest themselves in different cultures. The Festival will take place at, and in partnership with, the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture.

Do You Love This Planet? by the playwright and philosopher Alexander Matthews will premiere at Covent Garden's Tristan Bates Theatre in February 2019. Directed by Antony Law with design by Adrian Gee, the play will star Christian James as 'Alan', Lucy Lowe as 'Rachel' and Chris Porter as 'Schumann'. Do You Love This Planet will run from 27 February to 23 March, with a press night at 7pm on Tuesday 5 March.

Culture Abuse released their acclaimed sophomore album Bay Dream this past June on Epitaph Records and have been busy in support of it non-stop. Now, the band is preparing for a coast-to-coast jaunt with Nothing, which runs from the September 7th through 23rd.
