For the third consecutive year, media personality Shefik will return as Master of Ceremonies for Shop. Sell. Strut!. Miranda Eldridge will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies. The event takes place at iPlay America, 110 Schanck Road, Warehouse 100, Freehold, New Jersey 07728, on Sunday, May 19, 2018, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET. On Sunday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m., New Yorkers of all ages will take the Zankel Hall stage for Soul Mechanism: A Concert Celebrating the Music of Migrations, a special evening that marks the culmination of a citywide creative learning project. Led by celebrated performer Toshi Reagon and a band made up of longtime collaborators, the concert will showcase original songs written by New Yorkers in a performance featuring American roots songstress Martha Redbone, jazz and gospel vocalist Lizz Wright, singer-songwriter and filmmaker Be Steadwell, activist-artist Taina Asili, Sudanese singer Alsarah Elgadi, and other special guest artists.

As the characters Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, Mark Edward Lang and Alison J. Murphy seem to be a perfect fit in the play about the famous Broadway actors. Lang and Murphy are married in real life and have been performing together for many years. From September 4-14, 2014, Houston Ballet launches its 45th season with the company premiere of John Neumeier's three-act ballet A Midsummer Night's Dream. The ballet is based on Shakespeare's lighthearted play of the same name and follows the hijinks and hilarity that ensues when a well-intentioned plan with a love potion goes awry. Created in 1977, A Midsummer Night's Dream has served as Mr. Neumeier's calling card, being seen as one of his most joyous and popular creations. Houston Ballet is the first American ballet company to perform the famous work and it is the first piece by Mr. Neumeier to enter the Houston Ballet repertoire.

The New York Philharmonic will present the second season of THE ART OF THE SCORE: Film Week at the Philharmonic September 16-20, 2014, offering two concert programs of film music - La Dolce Vita: The Music of Italian Cinema and Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times: The Tramp at 100 - that highlight some of the genre's most distinctive uses of music. Music Director Alan Gilbert opens the New York Philharmonic's 2014-15 season on September 16 with the Opening Gala Concert, La Dolce Vita: The Music of Italian Cinema, with special guest Martin Scorsese, Oscar-winning director and film preservation proponent, who will deliver welcoming and introductory remarks. After five and a half years of residence at the Blue Star Arts Complex, Classic Theatre of San Antonio has made a new home in the Black Box of the Woodlawn Theatre! Their debut production in the new space, Death of a Salesman, opened this past weekend and runs thru February 23rd.
