Center Theatre Group Artistic Director Michael Ritchie and Broadway producer Stacey Mindich announced today that the first national touring production of the 2017 Tony Award-winning Best Musical 'Dear Evan Hansen' will be part of Center Theatre Group's 2018 - 2019 season at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Kennedy Center presents the New Adventures North American tour of Matthew Bourne's critically acclaimed production of The Red Shoes, October 10 to 15, 2017. The tour will continue to Blumenthal Performing Arts, Charlotte and City Center, New York; having already played at Ahmanson Theatre, Los Angeles.

St. Ann's Warehouse continues its rich history of partnering with the UK's foremost theaters and theater makers, presenting the American Premiere of the National Theatre/Headlong production of Duncan Macmillan's People, Places & Things. Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the production was one of last season's must-see shows in the West End, following a hugely successful run at the National. Casting is now complete for the American Premiere at St. Ann's.

Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Paul Kaye, Sarah Niles and Danusia Samal have been cast in B by Guillermo Calderon translated by William Gregory and directed by Royal Court Associate Director (International) Sam Pritchard.

Among the show's stars are Teal Davis and Elliott Robinson, who portray the show's protagonists Huck and Jim and take audiences on a journey down the Mississippi River in the rollicking, rambunctious show. Somehow, the two actors found time in their hectic, tech week schedules and sat down to take on our questions in order to offer some insight into why they do what they do, as well as suggesting why you just can't miss Big River during its three-weekend run at 108 Donelson Pike.

Emery LeCrone, founder, choreographer, and artistic director of Emery LeCrone Dance, is committed to developing contemporary ballets that feature live music and costume collaborations with fashion designers. All choreographies on the program were created by LeCrone. Emery LeCrone Dance performs at the Joyce Theater July 18, 19, and 20. I saw the performance on Wednesday July 19th.

Mike Shepherd is an actor, director, teacher and the Artistic Director of Kneehigh. He started Kneehigh in 1980 and has worked almost exclusively for the company ever since. He is currently playing King Mark in their acclaimed production of Tristan & Yseult and is about to direct a new production of The Tin Drum.
