The Jeff Awards announced today via a special video, a total of 132 nominations in 22 categories for the 46th Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards.

If you are wondering whether it's necessary for you to have seen Qui Nguyen's critically-acclaimed 2015 play VIETGONE in order to enjoy its superior new sequel POOR YELLA REDNECKS, then don't worry too much about it. This incredibly funny, incredibly innovative, and incredibly well-acted follow-up is, by itself, a singular, superb stand-alone gem. All those loud laughs you're hearing in Costa Mesa for the past few weeks? They're all likely coming from South Coast Repertory, where this entertaining and thought-provoking must-see sequel is currently being presented in its first full World Premiere production through April 27, 2019 as part of the Tony Award-winning theater's annual Pacific Playwright's Festival. I truly cannot recommend this play-with-music enough.

The ABC newsmagazine towered over NBC's “Dateline” (10:00-11:00 p.m.), leading by 34% in Total Viewers (4.3 million vs. 3.2 million), by 75% in Adults 18-49 (0.7/3 vs. 0.4/2) and by 43% in Adults 25-54 (1.0/4 vs. 0.7/3). In fact, “20/20” drew more viewers than “Dateline” for their 12th consecutive matchup on the night, delivering its longest winning streak over the NBC newsmagazine in 10 years—since a streak in January-April 2009 (1/2-4/10/09).

Music mogul DJ Khaled is set to host Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2019, the biggest, slimiest party of the year for kids, broadcasting live Saturday, March 23, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) from the Galen Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The news, which also included this year's nominees, was announced today by Double Dare host Liza Koshy via a first-time Kids' Choice Awards nomination livestream event across Nickelodeon's YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter handles and channels.
