VIDEO: 'ER' Star Anthony Edwards Makes Broadway Musical Debut as Dr. Walker in GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY
“ER” star Anthony Edwards took to the stage on Friday evening in his Broadway musical debut as “Dr. Walker” in the recently Tony Nominated musical Girl From The North Country. With several members of the company out of the show due to COVID, Edwards stepped in at the last moment, and after only an hour of rehearsal time, to ensure that the show would go on. He starred opposite his wife, Mare Winningham, who was recently nominated for a Tony Award for her role.

After critically acclaimed, smash-hit runs at The Old Vic London, in London's West End, and at The Public Theater New York, GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY comes to Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre for a strictly limited engagement. Performances are now on stage through Sunday, November 24.

Filmed in the Dylan Room at the historic Troubadour in London, the video features stars Rachel John (Mrs. Neilsen in the West End and Toronto productions) and Jeannette Bayardelle (Mrs. Neilsen at The Public and on Broadway) meeting and performing together for the first time.
