The final four shows of DPAC's 'Broadway Doesn't Get Any Bigger Than This' Season will go on sale this Saturday, September 26 at 10 a.m. The final four shows include Matilda the Musical, Cabaret, 42nd Street and If/Then.

BroadwayWorld has learned that author and screenwriter Jackie Collins died this weekend in LA after a battle with breast cancer. She was 77.

With over 200 shows presented at FringeNYC Festival and 900 at Edinburgh Fringe, it's hard to be in the know about what's worth seeing. Pear Theatre inaugurates its 2015/2016 season in a brand new space with the World Premiere of The Walls of Jericho.  The Pear's own Artistic Director, Diane Tasca, has created this stage adaptation of the short story "Night Bus," by Samuel Hopkins Adams, the delightful romantic comedy from 1933 that also inspired the classic film, "It Happened One Night."

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) announces the productions selected for its newest program: FringeFAVE. On August 30th, one final performance slot in each of the 17 theaters hosting the festival has been given to the best-selling show in that venue. The fifth play in the third season of Asolo Rep's five-year American Character Project illuminates a sect of wealthy, early 20th-century American women who yearned for the pomp and circumstance - and parties - of the British nobility. Directed by Asolo Rep's producing artistic director Michael Donald Edwards, Our Betters opens Friday, March 13, 2015 at 8pm and runs through Sunday, April 19 at Asolo Rep, with previews tonight, March 11 and Thursday, March 12 at 8pm.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts is rolling out plans for its 30th Season, beginning with the 2015 - 2016 Broadway line-up. She will be joined by special guests Matt Haimovitz, Christopher O'Riley and Jake Heggie. The concert, held at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music's Sol Joseph Recital Hall, is dedicated to the memory of pianist Kristin Pankonin (class of 1989), alumna and former staff pianist of the Conservatory.
