Sarasota Opera will present The Merry Widow by Franz Lehár as part of its 2026 Winter Festival. The operetta will open on February 21 and run through March 27 following the festival’s opening production of LA BOHÈME.

With direction by Miguel Falabella, The Merry Widow will debut on 14th, and will be staged in Portuguese until the 24th of November. Altogether there will be 10 recites, and the presentations on Sundays will have a unique value of R $ 20 for all sectors.
