Virginia's Signature Theatre opens its air-conditioned doors once again for the annual Sizzlin' Summer Nights Series. Two and a half weeks of live music and performances by Signature favorites and DC area stars. The cabaret series runs July 5 through July 22, with a different performance every night.

Ghostlight Records will celebrate today's cast album release date of the hit musical A BRONX TALE with a special in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble on Friday, May 12 at 4:00 PM. 

The Connecticut premiere of Trav'lin - The 1930s Harlem Musical opens this weekend at Waterbury's Seven Angels Theatre, following productions at Houston's Ensemble Theatre and Fort Worth's Jubilee Theatre, and development in Washington, D.C. and New York City, including a sold-out run at the New York Musical Festival (NYMF).  Performances being Thursday, May 11, Official Opening is Saturday, May 13, and the show runs through Sunday, June 11, 2017.

Pipeline-Collective presents the final production of its inaugural season - the Nashville premiere of Brilliant Traces, a two-person play by Cindy Lou Johnson, directed by frequent Pipeline collaborator Laramie Hearn and starring Amanda Card and Taylor Novak - at Belmont Little Theatre on the Belmont University campus June 16-18.

The Edinburgh International Conference Centre hosts the spectacular Cirque Eloize alongside Festival favourite Nina Conti and contemporary dance show Requiem for Aleppo as part of the Pleasance's Edinburgh Fringe programme this August. This programme marks the launch of a brand new partnership between the two venues.

Broadway In Boston has unveiled the upcoming 2017-2018 Lexus Broadway Season at its annual spring Announcement event this evening.  Eight theatrical productions take center stage at the Boston Opera House beginning next fall including the previously announced production of HAMILTON.  Over 1000 people from around the city gathered to celebrate today's announcement including Broadway In Boston's Season ticket holders, group leaders, arts and business leaders, city officials, partners from around the city, sponsors and the Boston media.  Highlights from the day included video messages from WAITRESS composer and six time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, seven time Grammy Award winner Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan composers of ON YOUR FEET!, the cast of the National Tour of HAMILTON and live performances from cast members of FUN HOME, DISNEY'S ALADDIN, WAITRESS and LOVE NEVER DIES.

Ghostlight Records releases the album of the hit musical A BRONX TALE in digital formats today, Friday, March 24 with CDs in stores and online Friday, May 12. CDs will be available at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street), where the show is currently running, beginning mid-April. The 16th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its lineup of 57 thought-provoking and diverse short films in competition, including 36 world premieres. The selected shorts, 40% of which were directed by women, and include filmmakers from every corner of the globe, were curated from a record 4,385 submissions. They will be presented in 10 distinct competition programs, consisting of five narrative, four documentary, and, for the second year, one animated program. In addition, there is the Sports Shorts program as part of the 11th annual Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival, sponsored by Mohegan Sun. The Shorts program, sponsored by Nutella Originals, is a part of the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, which runs April 19-30.

Tommy Mottola, the Dodgers, Tribeca Productions, and Evamere Entertainment announced today that the Original Broadway Cast Album of the hit musical A BRONX TALE will be released by Ghostlight Records, beginning March 24, 2017.

Daily Times). Described by CBC as a, "bawdy, bluesy, boozy rollicking night out at the theatre," the show follows the life, loves and career of blues and jazz singer Bessie Smith, called the "Empress of the Blues."

The Fox Theatre today announced a seven-year agreement establishing Lexus as the exclusive presenting partner of the Marquee Club,  a premium club slated to open the fall of 2017.
