The Guthrie today announced that Four Humors Theater, Sandbox Theatre, Lamb Lays with Lion and New Theatre Group will each present one of their acclaimed productions as part of Singled Out: A Festival of Emerging Artists.

RACE, the new play written and directed by DAVID MAMET, is proud to welcome DAVID ALAN GRIER to the cast alongside previously announced cast members JAMES SPADER, RICHARD THOMAS and KERRY WASHINGTON.

Two-time Tony Award winners NATHAN LANE (The Producers, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum) and BEBE NEUWIRTH (Chicago, Sweet Charity) will star as Gomez and Morticia in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams. Produced by Stuart Oken, Roy Furman, Michael Leavitt and Five Cent Productions, by special arrangement with Elephant Eye Theatrical, THE ADDAMS FAMILY will open on Broadway Thursday, April 8, 2010 at a Nederlander theatre to be announced. Previews will begin Thursday, March 4, 2010 following a pre-Broadway engagement at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre in Chicago that begins November 13.

The Lincoln Theatre Association today announced a week of events to celebrate the grand reopening of the historic Lincoln Theatre (769 E. Long St.), including a neighborhood open house on Memorial Day followed by a series of concerts from national touring artists in jazz, blues, opera, and gospel.

Ken Russell, the celebrated director of the films Tommy, Woman In Love and The Boyfriend, makes his New York stage directorial debut with MINDGAME.

At the dawn of the atomic age, before Boeing Boeing and Doris Day rom-coms, there was THE TENDER TRAP, a light sex comedy about a New York bachelor and the various women seeking to marry him. This will be the first New York production of THE TENDER TRAP since its 1954 Broadway premiere.
