The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) has announced the selections for its 22nd Annual Festival of New Musicals taking place on Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, 2010 in New York City.

NBC Celebrates the nation's birthday extravaganza with performances by music superstar Justin Bieber, Grammy(R) Award winning musician Enrique Iglesias and multi-platinum singer LeAnn Rimes on NBC's 11th consecutive live broadcast of 'Macy's 4th of July Fireworks(R) Spectacular.' Cast members from the Twilight Saga: Eclipse will also partake in the excitement onboard the Norwegian EPIC. Hosted by Nick Cannon, from NBC's 'America's Got Talent' and Alison Sweeney, from NBC's 'The Biggest Loser,' the show will air in high definition on Sunday, July 4th 9-10 p.m. ET, 8-9 p.m. CT.

MTV heads back to the Bayou in the height of Mardi Gras madness and Super Bowl mania, with the network premiere of 'The Real World: New Orleans' on Wednesday, June 30 at 10PM ET/PT. Once again, eight diverse strangers come together in the 'Who Dat Nation' to experience life, love, and the 24-hour party that is New Orleans, while also discovering a passion for the city's legendary food and music. The premiere episode opens up with the roommates in the middle of The French Quarter, where they quickly find out first impressions are not always what they seem.

The 2010 Festival of New American Musicals, a three month musical theatre festival, will be held May 16 through August 21 2010, throughout Southern California. Marcia Seligson, Bob Klein, and Linda Shusett are the Executive Producers of the annual festival, now in its third year.

Yara Arts Group will end its run of 'Scythian Stones,' an original, experimental World Music Theater piece with choreography, at La MaMa E.T.C. May 2. The work, created by Virlana Tkacz, features famed Ukrainian singer Nina Matvienko, her daughter Tonia and artists from Kyrgyzstan.
