Record-breaking Thriller Live announces a new West End booking period to October 2017; a new Thriller Live tour hopes to have audiences dancing in the aisles across the UK and Europe from January 2017 - and the show opens tonight in the People's Republic of China, chosen as the opening production in a major new resort.

Now, Valley Performing Arts Center will kick-off the new season and its Broadway series on September 30 at 8:00pm with a one night only concert performance of Dear World, starring Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly in the role of Countess Aurelia.

Adapted from Dick King-Smith's much-loved children's novel which inspired the Oscar-winning 1995 film, Babe, The Sheep-Pig will be brought to life on stage in an enchanting new production, embarking on a major UK Tour in 2017 following a Christmas season at Polka Theatre. Featuring stunning puppetry, an original score and an utterly charming 'baa-ber sheep' quartet, the tour will launch from West Yorkshire Playhouse on Monday 13 February and run until September 2017. October promises to be one of the biggest yet at Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists. The month kicks off with architects of the Jamaican sound, Sly & Robbie and the Taxi Gang and the first time Hoku Award-winners Amy Hanaiali'i and Willie K will perform together in the showroom.

Museum of the Moving Image will present the most comprehensive U.S. retrospective of all of the Polish director's features, short films, early documentary work, and a marathon viewing of the Dekalog, from October 7 through November 6, 2016. The series will also include four posthumous works based on Kieslowski's unproduced screenplays.

Irish Repertory Theatre has announced its Fall 2016 Season. On the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage will be FINIAN'S RAINBOW, adapted and directed by Irish Rep Artistic Director Charlotte Moore, and starring Melissa Errico ('Billions', Encores! The Old Globe presents the world premiere of Steve Martin's new play METEOR SHOWER, an adult comedy, marking his welcome return to the Globe following the great success of Bright Star. It will be directed by Gordon Edelstein in a co-production with Long Wharf Theatre, where Edelstein serves as Artistic Director (and no, he is not related to Barry).

Susan Cella is speaking of her signature portrayal of Golde, the vehicle which has brought her to the latest stop in her artistic journey, Maine State Music Theatre in a new production of the Bock-Harnick musical, Fiddler on the Roof, that opens July 20.

Previews are underway for Theatre for a New Audience's production of August Strindberg's THE FATHER in a new version by Scottish author David Greig commissioned by Theatre for a New Audience and performances start tonight, May 10, at 7:30pm for A DOLL'S HOUSE in an adaptation by Thornton Wilder not seen in New York since its Broadway premiere in 1937.

Earlier this month, Boston Conservatory and New York City voice teacher James Javore passed away following a battle with prostate cancer. In celebration of his life, a group of alumni, past students, and colleagues will host an open memorial service this Saturday, May 7, at The Church of Latter Day Saints at 66th and Columbus at 2:00PM.
