Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) will stage a two-week run of Lew Christensen's a?oeBeauty and the Beasta?? presented by PNC, opening this Valentine's Day weekend at the Benedum Center. The program will run Feb. 14-23, 2020, and will include a special sensory-friendly production on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 4:30 p.m. Tickets start $15 for the sensory-friendly performance and $28 for all other performances, and are on sale now at www.pbt.org, 412-456-6666 or the Box Office at Theater Square.

Southern Belles, uniting two ground-breaking one-act plays by Tennessee Williams, will headline the King's Head Theatre's 2019 Queer Season, running from 24 July to 24 August. Southern Belles is directed by Jamie Armitage, co-director of the multi Olivier nominated musical Six, a graduate of King's Head Theatre's Trainee Resident Director's scheme and now a Junior Associate, as well as a Resident Director at the Almeida Theatre.

Museum of the Moving Image will host one of the most exciting film events of the year: a presentation of an epic trilogy of films directed by Yuliya Solntseva, two of which will be shown in their spectacularly colorful, original 70mm formats. This marks the first time that all three films have been screened together in North America. Solntseva is the first female director to win Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival, a feat not repeated until Sofia Coppola won the same award for Beguiled this year. Yuliya Solntseva's Ukrainian Trilogy will be shown August 26 and 27.
