Set in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, virgin Max Dennison, sister Dani, and new friend Allison, accidentally free a coven of evil witches. With the help of a talking cat, the kids must steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal. Hocus Pocus premiered in 1993 to lackluster reviews, but since then has grown a steady reputation as a cult classic film.  (more...)
