Artists Repertory Theatre has extended two play commissions, as part of the company's ambitious new play development program Table|Room|Stage (T|R|S).

Second Stage Theater, the preeminent home for American plays and living American playwrights, has announced that Kevin Brockman, Executive Vice President, Global Communications, Disney/ABC Television Group, has joined the company's Board of Directors.

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), closes its 75th anniversary season with Victor Herbert's Babes in Toyland on April 27, 2017 at 7pm at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (57th Street and 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019). The production will be conducted and directed by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling and will feature Kelli O'Hara (Contrary Mary), Bill Irwin (Master Toymaker), Christopher Fitzgerald (Alan), Lauren Worsham (Jane), Jay Armstrong Johnson (Tom Tom), Jonathan Freeman (Uncle Barnaby), Chris Sullivan (Gonzorgo), Jeffrey Schecter (Roderigo), Michael Kostroff (Chief Inspector Marmaduke), and Blair Brown (The Narrator), with the 130 singers of MasterVoices and Orchestra of St. Luke's. Musical Staging by Andrew Palermo, Costume Consulting by Tracy Christensen, and Concert Adaptation by Joe Keenan and Ted Sperling.

As previously announced, Second Stage Theatre will begin the 2017 Uptown Series with the world premiere of Chisa Hutchinson's SOMEBODY'S DAUGHTER, directed by MAY ADRALES.

Long Wharf Theatre, under the director of Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein and Managing Director Joshua Borenstein, presents the world premiere of The Most Beautiful Room in New York, a new musical with book and lyrics by Adam Gopnik and music by David Shire, directed by Edelstein.

???????Political intrigue takes center stage at Actors' Playhouse in the Tony Award-winning drama All The Way by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan.

The production will be conducted by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling and will feature previously announced stars Kelli O'Hara, Bill Irwin, Lauren Worsham, Christopher Fitzgerald - with Jonathan Freeman, Chris Sullivan, and Jeffrey Schecter just joining the lineup - alongside 130 singers of MasterVoices, with Orchestra of St. Luke's.

Stage Kiss by Sarah Ruhl, winner of the 2016 Steinberg Distinguished Playwright Award and a MacArthur 'genius' grant, will be directed by Courtney O'Connor at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston, opening February 26 and running through March 26, 2017. Previews begin February 24. 

Due to extremely high ticket demand, Second Stage Theatre's New York premiere production of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tracy Letts' play, MAN FROM NEBRASKA, has announced a two-week extension after opening to extremely positive reviews on February 15th. The production will now play through March 26 at the Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street).

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the West Coast premiere of Hand to God written by Robert Askins and directed by David Ivers. The Broadway smash hit and Tony Award-nominated play begins previews on Friday, February 3, and the show runs through Sunday, March 19. The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for The Muny's 2017 Season, which opens on June 12 with Jesus Christ Superstar.

Due to extremely high ticket demand, Anna Deavere Smith's critically acclaimed new work, NOTES FROM THE FIELD, has added a performance at 1pm on Wednesday, December 14. The production plays through Sunday, December 18th at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd Street).

Today Shoreditch Town Hall announces an immersive double-bill of Philip Ridley plays, including the world premiere of Killer and a new production of Ridley's contemporary classic The Pitchfork Disney, his first stage play which premiered in 1991. The productions will both be directed by Jamie Lloyd and run in 'The Ditch' basement spaces of Shoreditch Town Hall in spring 2017.

Ghostlight Records will release the original cast recording of the musical The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz online and in stores today, December 2, 2016.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents August Wilson's SEVEN GUITARS, directed by Timothy Douglas, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) now through December 17. Opening Night is tonight, December 1.
