THE WALK ACROSS AMERICA FOR MOTHER EARTH - the newest work from Taylor Mac whose epic THE LILY'S REVENGE was a smash hit Off-Broadway last year - will be given its world-premiere in a production presented by La MaMa ETC in
association with the renowned, Obie Award-winning theatre company The Talking Band, with previews beginning January 15, 2011 prior to its official opening night on Thursday, January 20 at the Ellen Stewart Theatre (66 E. 4 St.) in Manhattan. The January 15th and 16th preview performances are part of the Under the Radar Festival, with a special ticket price of $20.

Unseen in London since 1971, Graham Greene's controversial play The Potting Shed returns to the Finborough Theatre by popular demand after a sell-out Sunday and Monday run in October 2010, opening on Tuesday, 4 January 2011 for a four week run (Press Night: Thursday, 6 January 2011 at 7.30pm) as part of RediscoveriesUK, a three month season of rediscovered plays by writers from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Last week, Christine Ebersole gave a special performance to patrons of Barnes & Noble at Lincoln Center in celebration of the September 21st release of ‘Christine Ebersole Sings Noel Coward.' Two-time Tony Award winner Ebersole, whose soprano voice was heard singing Noel Coward songs between scenes of the most recent Broadway revival of Blithe Spirit, teamed up with Musical Director Larry Yurman on the album of Coward tunes. Paula Brancati, Lauren Collins, Wendy Crewson, Cynthia Dale, Andrea Martin, and Louise Pitre are officially set to be the first cast of the Toronto production of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE. As in the initial New York staging of the play by Nora and Delia Ephron, the production will feature a company of six that rotates in four-week cycles. The next cast will be announced in the next upcoming weeks.
