Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Artistic Director, Mark W. Jones-Executive Director) is mourning the loss of their dear friend and artist Ms. Lynn Redgrave. Ms. Redgrave appeared on the Paper Mill Playhouse stage in The Importance of Being Earnest in early 2009 and has remained close with the Millburn theater until her passing. Ms. Redgrave is to be honored at Paper Mill Playhouse's Gala Event on Wednesday, May 12th at The Hilton Short Hills.

A strong lineup of productions for the 2010-11 season continues Children's Theatre of Charlotte's commitment to providing theatre that entertains, challenges and inspires young people and families. In its 63rd year, the Theatre presents a wide range of shows, including musical spectacular Disney's Aladdin, the return of popular holiday production Scrooge! and several storybook adaptations that are new to area audiences.

Matt Cavenaugh joins Alec Baldwin and Daniel Davis in the New York Philharmonic Stravinsky's L'Histoire du Soldat (A Soldier's Tale) Sunday, May 2, 2010 as part of The Russian Stravinsky: A Philharmonic Festival conducted by Valery Gergiev, which runs April 21 to May 8th at Avery Fisher Hall. Artistic Director of the internationally acclaimed Donmar Warehouse, Michael Grandage, today announced new details surrounding the new Donmar season through until February 2011 including. Casting has been announced for Polar Bears; David Leveaux has been pronounced director of Simon Gray's The Late Middle Class; von Kleist's The Prince of Homburg has been added to the season; new events in celebration of Sondheim's 80th birthday - in addition to the production of Passion - have been revealed; and Michael Grandage has been confirmed to direct Derek Jacobi in King Lear.

Annette Bening, who plays the famed feminist in playwright Joanna Murray-Smith's comedy The Female of the Species, will be sharing the Geffen Playhouse stage with a diverse group of acclaimed actors: David Arquette (Scream, Never Been Kissed), Tony Award nominee Mireille Enos (Big Love, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf on Broadway), Merritt Wever (Nurse Jackie), Julian Sands (A Room with a View, Boxing Helena) and Josh Stamberg (Drop Dead Diva).
