It was 20 years ago when Sarah Jessica Parker starred Off-Broadway in A.R. Gurney's off-beat comedy about a man and his dog, SLYVIA. Just last night her hubby Matthew Broderick had the honor of opening in SLYVIA on Broadway, joined by Annaleigh Ashford as Sylvia, with Julie White and Robert Sella. Both critics and audiences are loving it, and FULL GALLOP will now add a limited week of additional performances, extending through Sunday, November 1, 2015, in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a community engagement initiative, 'The Individual & American Society: Celebrating Arthur Miller at One Hundred,' September 24 through October 26. The series of events, many of which are free-of-charge, will run concurrently with the Playhouse's production of Miller's 'Broken Glass,' directed by Mark Lamos. The Tony Award-nominated play takes place at the time of Kristallnacht, The Night of Broken Glass, in Nazi Germany, as a Brooklyn Jewish couple's marriage begins to shatter.

SYLVIA, Broadway's most captivating canine, will be celebrating NATIONAL DOG WEEK with a box office giveaway that both dogs and their human companions can enjoy. Free Sylvia goodies -- including a Sylvia t-shirt, a pop-up drinking bowl, and a product from petsmile -- will be distributed at the box office of the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48th Street) from Monday, September 21 through Saturday, September 26 (10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. daily) with the purchase of a full-price ticket (Orchestra and Mezzanine seats only).
