TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents the Northern California premiere of Archduke. Written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph, Archduke explores how one man, one moment, can derail an entire century. Focusing on the cataclysmic 1914 assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo, three hapless insurgents embark on a darkly comic quest for immortality and purpose, unaware that their actions will launch World War I.

British hard-rock stalwarts, The Darkness, have been announced as special guests for a huge outdoor summer show in West London in the stunning grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, which will see the legendary Toto headline what promises to be a night of unadulterated anthems!

To kick off the Winter/Spring Families program comes a work that asks children to hop on board a custom-built spaceship in Whoosh! For one day only, Saturday 29 June, children will be taken across the galaxy for an interstellar adventure in The Pavilion at Arts Centre Melbourne with blast off at 10am and 12pm.

Compagnia de' Colombari, an international collective of performing artists founded and directed by Karin Coonrod,celebrates the bicentennial of the birth of America's most influential poet, Walt Whitman, with a revival of their acclaimed production More Or Less I Am. Families are invited to experience an array of engaging and ambitious theatrical adventures and interactive experiences from Australia and beyond as part of Arts Centre Melbourne's 2019 Winter/Spring Families program from June November 2019. This season presents entertaining, inclusive and culturally diverse works spanning dance, music, puppetry and theatre. Young people and their families can enjoy an interstellar adventure designed for children with disabilities, an international dance work inspired by a computer game, an intercultural b*boy battle, hip hop fairy-tale, graphic novel brought to life, quirky puppetry and an indigenous history lesson with a twist.
