Moonbox Productions presents the Hilarious Comic Thriller THE 39 STEPS

Moonbox Productions, nominated for numerous IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards, is thrilled to present the hilarious comic thriller, The 39 Steps, by Patrick Barlow and John Buchan. Produced by Sharman Altshuler and directed by IRNE and Norton nominated Director, Allison Olivia Choat, The 39 Steps opens on November 17th and runs through December 9th at the Boston Center for the Arts Plaza Theater, 539 Tremont Street, Boston. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Fridays/Saturdays at 8 pm, Sat/Sun matinees 2 pm. Oregon Shakespeare Festival Offering $10 Rush Tickets to Benefit Food Drive

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is offering discounted $10 rush tickets for 18 performances to benefit ACCESS and the Ashland Emergency Food Bank. Those wishing to participate are asked to bring at least one non-perishable food item for each $10 ticket purchased. Patrons may also make a cash donation to receive this special rush price.

Based on the 1940s comic strip by Russell Stamm, the new play is written by BWBTC Ensemble Member Barbara Lhota, directed by Ensemble Member Leigh Barrett and features violence design by Ensemble Member Libby Beyreis. Sarasota Opera announces an expansion of their "HD at the Movie House" series entitled "Classic Moves at the Opera House." Originally designed as a movie house and vaudeville theater, Sarasota Opera is embracing the history of the building by bringing many of the classic films that once played at the theater when they originally premiered.
