Beowulf Alley Theatre's Old Time Radio Theatre Ensemble Company will present classic stories from the Golden Age of Radio in March and April, at the theatre, 11 South 6th Avenue (Downtown between Broadway and Congress). Admission is $8 online a day in advance at www.beowulfalley.org or $10 at the door. Children 4-12 are always $5. The box office phone number is (520) 882-0555. As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Ian Rickson will direct Keira Knightley and Elisabeth Moss in Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour due to open in the West End in early 2011 for a limited run that will shutter in the spring. The New York Times suggests today that the production could be bound for Broadway in the fall of 2011, taking a hiatus to accommodate Knightley and Mosses respective filming schedules next summer.

PS Classics will release a recording of 'Life Begins at 8:40' on June 8. The Harold Arlen, Ira Gershwin and Yip Harburg collabrative revue was presented in concert at The Library Of Congress on March 22 with Kate Baldwin, Montego Glover, Philip Chaffin, Christopher Fitzgerald, Rebecca Luker, Brad Oscar, Graham Rowat, Jessica Stone and Faith Prince. Both the concert and the recording were conducted by Aaron Grandy.
