To coincide with the ongoing presidential campaign, the Huntington Theatre Company will stage the American premiere of Now or Later, Christopher Shinn's timely political drama about our freedoms. Drama Desk and Outer Critic's Circle Award winner Michael Wilson, who recently helmed the acclaimed Broadway production of Gore Vidal's presidential drama The Best Man, directs the new production.

Producers of THE ADDAMS FAMILY announced additional dates today for the Fall 2012 leg of the musical's North American tour. The production will play Dallas (Oct. 2 - 21), Seattle (Oct. 24 - Nov. 11), Salt Lake City (Nov. 13 - 18), Las Vegas (Nov.20 - 25), Tempe (Dec. 11 - 16) and Costa Mesa (Dec. 18 - 30). Plus, Curtis Holbrook (West Side Story, Xanadu) will join the cast of the national tour as "Lucas Beineke."

The national tour of The Addams Family, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its Pennsylvania premiere in Pittsburgh tonight, July 31 and play through Sunday, August 12, 2012, at the Benedum Center as part of the Pittsburgh CLO summer season and PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh 2011-12 series.

From 26 July - 12 August 2012, the Criterion Theatre will present Playing The Games, a programme of work which will celebrate both artistic and sporting talent featuring emerging and established actors, comedians, musicians, playwrights and Olympians. Sam Hodges, Producer of the Criterion Theatre, has commissioned two new plays by emerging British playwrights Serge Cartwright and Adam Brace in response to the presence of the Olympic Games in London-After the Party and Taking Part, respectively. Producer Jordan Roth announced today that 2011 Olivier Award nominee Sarah Goldberg will join the cast of the 2012 Tony Award-winning "Best Play," Clybourne Park, in the roles of "Betsy" and "Lindsey." Annie Parisse will play her final performance on Sunday, July 15th with Goldberg succeeding the role on Tuesday, July 17th.

Signal Ensemble Theatre has announced the final production in their 2011-2012 season, the Chicago premiere of Hostage Song, tonight, May 5 through June 9, at Signal Ensemble Theatre, 1802 West Berenice Ave. Clay McLeod Chapman writes the production with music and lyrics by Kyle Jarrow, directed by Signal's Co-Artistic Director Ronan Marra with music direction by Signal Ensemble Member Jon Steinhagen. The performance schedule for Hostage Song is Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Opening/press night is tonight, May 5 at 8 p.m. The production runs 90 minutes with no intermission and please note there will be no show on Sunday, May 6. Regular ticket prices are $20 for single tickets, $15 for industry/students/seniors/groups and $10 for previews.
