Pacific Stages will follow up their debut production of Lobby Hero with the world premiere of Something Happened, by award-winning playwright L. Trey Wilson. Something Happened runs April 1 through May 16 at Pacific Stages in El Segundo and will be directed by L. Trey Wilson. The press opening begins April 8 and there will be an opening reception Saturday, April 10.

Florida Studio Theatre adds seven additional performances to the hit Shear Madness. Shear Madness opened to audiences raving on February 18, 2010. "That was hysterical," "That was tremendous fun," and "Dynamite" are a few of the exiting comments. The critics have agreed "Crazy fun," reviewed the Sarasota Herald-Tribune and "Great fun," remarked Sarasota Magazine. Shear Madness, by Paul Portner; Adapted by Marilyn Abrams and Bruce Jordan; Original Director: Bruce Jordan is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest running play in the history of American Theatre and is hailed as America's Favorite Comedy. Shear Madness will now run through March 21, 2010.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) announced three productions that it will produce during the 2010-2011 season at the Vivian Beaumont Theater and on Broadway. The first, a musical version of the Pedro Almodóvar film WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN, with book by Jeffrey Lane, music and lyrics by David Yazbek and direction by Bartlett Sher, will begin previews Saturday, October 2 when it will reopen the newly restored Belasco Theatre (111 W. 44 Street). Opening night is Thursday, November 4.
